Hyundai Arts Center
Hyundai Arts Center was established in 1998 and is managed by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI). HHI manages seven cultural centres, including Hyundai Arts Center holding about 600 cultural lessons and having about 11,000 members.
Hyundai Arts Center won the Good Construction Design Award in 1998 and Korea Mecenat Award in 2007.
- One large performance hall (962 seats), one small performance hall (212 seats), two movie theatres (106 seats for each), art gallery, gymnasium, bowling alley, racquet ball courts, indoor rock climbing, ping pong tables, cafeteria, cafe, etc.
- Three buildings with the area of 33,058m²

Art Gallery
The gallery at Hyundai Art Center provides a valuable art space for Ulsanites.
The gallery was remodelled in 2007 and holds various art exhibitions ranging from Italian woodprint painting to world famous paintings from European museums to Korean traditional masterpieces.
Currently, "Cho Young-nam's Fun Art Ulsan" is on display until the end of August.

Large Performance Hall
With 3,841m² and 962 seats in the Concert Hall, you can enjoy a performance from any genre, whether it be a play, dance, concert, or musical Although the hall is not very large,
it features Korea's most state-of-the-art facilities, including a 526m² central stage with a rotating stage 8m in diameter, four moveable stages and orchestra pits,
and Dolby Surround sound system.
World famous musicians and orchestras such as Yo-yo Ma, Sarah Chang, Sumi Jo, Myunghwa Cho, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra and New Jersey Orchestra have had performances in this hall.

Small Performance Hall
This 212-seat hall was opened in 2009 to commemorate Hyundai Arts Center's 10th anniversary.
Equipped with a state-of-the art sound system, the hall can host various musical, pop and classic concerts.
Many local plays from theatres in Daehagro (Korea's famous street where many small theatres are located playing various plays during the year) are played regularly for about 2 to 4 weeks.

Cinema
Equipped with 106 seats, the newly built digital cinemas boast one of the best screen and sounds facilities in Ulsan.

Indoor Gymnasium
The indoor gymnasium is equipped with movable stages and a broadcast sound system for various events and performances.
During the weekdays, basketball and badminton lessons are held here.

Climbing Wall
There is a 14.5m climbing wall all climbers can enjoy, from novice to expert.

Racquetball Court
There are three racquetball courts equipped with lounges, lockers and shower rooms.

Table Tennis
Many table tennis lessons and club activities are held here.

Bowling Alley
This bowling centre, equipped with 16 lanes, is well-known for its cheap price and clean equipment. There are also many local bowling clubs you can join.

Book Cafe Amadeus
This is a good place to sit down and read a book while sipping coffee. It is well-lit with sunlight.

Ye Won Fusion Restaurant
Located in the basement, this restaurant can seat 144 patrons and also has three separated rooms for private functions.
Hot stone pot bulgogi (gobdol bulgogi in Korean) is the most popular dish.

Infants' Playroom
Parents can leave their children (age under seven) here while they watch the performances.

Hyundai Arts Center also holds various cultural activities in many places under the theme of "Plant Concert" (concerts held at the industrial plant for workers), "Moving Concert (concert held in the welfare centre for underprivileged people)", "Friday Lobby Concert (concert held by amateur musicians on Friday evening free of charge)", "Happy Concert (concert for everyone with the ticket price of \1000)", etc.
Currently, the arts centre also sponsors four amateur music communities; Ulsan Men's Choral Society, Donggu Women's Choral Society, Hyundai Boys' and Girls' Choir and Hyundai Teenagers' Orchestra. Last year, it also created "USP Chamber Orchestra" together with Hyundai Heavy Industries and Ulsan University.
